Wish Upon A Sphere This New Year!

| |
Hi Huneybees,

What's your New Year Resolution for 2014? Why not pen in down and share them on the Wishing Spheres and have them "floating" on the Singapore River?

Jointly presented by Esplanade and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Wish Upon a Sphere is an annual New Year’s Eve tradition that dates all the way back to 2005. Pen your wishes on these spheres and they will be brought together with those filled up by people from all walks of life, and 20,000 of them will be floated on the waters of Marina Bay - the Bay of Hope and Light as a part of the visual arts presentation in Marina Bay

Well, I went to a couple of the Wishing Stations (Tiong Bahru Plaza & Suntec City) to get my wishes penned down, I even got my darling hubby to do his own too, but he's so secretive, don't know what did he write. :(
Wish Upon a Sphere allows us not only allows us to make a wish, it is also a way to start the new year with your friends and families, a chance for major get together. Look at these kids I spotted at Suntec City's Wishing Station! They were so creative, that even the adults who walked by had to grab a sphere themselves and start penning down their wishes!

Each wishing sphere represents a heartfelt hope, a belief that the New Year will bring new possibilities and a brighter tomorrow. Look back at the past, review your present and pen down your appreciation for life's many blessings.

Hop on over to the Wishing Station near you and start getting creative with your wishes!
There are 27 wishing stations located all over the island and it is FREE for EVERYONE!
For the locations, check out the website here.
Well, I couldn't resist drawing on the Wishing Sphere. Be creative!
The Wishing Stations will be around till 15 December 2013, so quick quick!!!
